certainly something to celebrate!

the minds behind the Nothing at the End
of the Lane website. They have just
produced a scriptbook based on a Doctor Who story
that never was - Farewell Great Macedon.

New logos, trailers, sad passings and new releases.
We cover the gamut of events in the Who universe.
We of course couldn't do an episode without talking
about the sad death of Doctor Who producer,
Barry Letts. In tribute to this titan of
Doctor Who we include in this episode an interview
that Paul and Seb did with Barry way back in
Episode 43 of The DWO WhoCast. We
hope you enjoy it, our way of paying tribute to Mr
Barry Letts.

The fan community, semi-fan productions and even

Doctor Who isn't on our screens.
In this episode of The DWO WhoCast
we want to highlight some of the forgotten Doctor
Who videos - spin-offs from the dark time after the
end of the classic series before the new light shone
in 2005 with RTD and Eccleston.
We also review; Downtime,
Wartime, Shakedown,
The Tom Baker Years and Who on
Earth is Tom Baker? Videos that entertained

The DWO WhoCast -
Episode #132
The Third Doctor was a suave, authoritative man of
action. Not unlike both Trevor and, to an equal
degree, Marty (opinions may differ).
This edition of The DWO WhoCast
delves, at long last, into the time of John
Devon Roland Pertwee, more easily known to
us lot as Jon Pertwee.
This is the first of three dedicated shows which
begins with a general background and overview of
this wonderful depiction of our favourite renegade
Time Lord.

Still more to be said about Torchwood
apparently, more specifically, Children
of Earth, its characters and their
motivations.
The feedback is overflowing with your opinions on
Torchwood, and it's our great pleasure to read them
out in this episode.
Never fear though, we still have a very large news
section, with all the news that's fit to be read out
from the world of Whodom.

The DWO WhoCast -
Episode #129
Back to normal after two episodes of
Torchwood goodness, Trevor and Marty don
their ties and best jackets and slip behind the news
desk and spend an episode nattering about the recent
events in the Whoniverse.
This episode does contain spoilers for some of the
more topical items that have been announced
recently, so if you wish to avoid the spoilers 5.23
- 14.16 is not a part of the podcast you should be
listening to.
But apart from that, the boys cover the latest in
news, and manage to slip in a review for the
semi-recent release of that most superb
Patrick Troughton DVD release,
The War Games (or as its known in fan
circles the episode with the 9 episodes of filler).
Marty and Trevor seek to debunk the fan myth that
the story is boring, and hope to convince you to
rush out and buy this release.

The DWO WhoCast -
Episode #127
No one would have believed that in the first years of
the 21st century that Doctor Who would ever come
back from the timeless worlds of cancellation. No
one could have dreamed it was being scrutinised as
someone with a microscope studies creatures that
swarm and multiply in a drop of water.
Few men even considered the possibility of
Christopher Eccleston leading the role. And
yet across the gulf of the BBC minds immeasurably
superior to ours regarded this show with optimistic
eyes and slowly and surely they drew their plans to
bring it back.
And who would have thought that one season of Doctor
Who, one Doctor, would achieve a three-part
retrospective! But here we are again. Trev and Marty
(and James!) finish up their look upon this Ninth
Doctor fellow, grab some feedback and give their
thoughts on the second half of season one.
